About the owner:

Erica LuBera

Hello fellow adventurers- My name is Erica and I have been an avid backpacker since 2016 when I ventured out on my first ever backpacking trip, solo.  Since then, I have backpacked over 3,000 miles primarily on central PA trails or on the Appalachian Trail. When I first began, I had no idea what (if any) resources were available to me. Over the years I have learned through research, experience, and of course – trial and error.  This has taught me that although there are infinite ways to enjoy a backpacking trip (hike your own hike), there are some basic ways to ensure that you stay safe, respect the environment, and have the best possible experience for you. Backpacking can be an amazing, challenging, and beautiful experience; but it is always a learning experience. I hope to share my knowledge with you so that you too can enjoy Mother Nature and the lessons she provides.
