2024 Trips
Guided Backpacking Trips
multi-day hikes - overnight gear required
All WRG backpacking trips include a difficulty rating. This rating is primarily based on the elevation gain per mile, with consideration to miles per day and how technical the terrain of that particular route might be. Technical terrain is gauged by how stable or unstable trail footing (rocks, roots, etc) might be and the environment (temps, weather, etc).
Backpacking Trips run with at least 3 hikers, max 6 hikers.
single-day hikes - option to practice with overnight gear
If you are signed up for a WRG backpacking trip, (1) Ruck Day is included with your backpacking trip cost. If you are not registered for a backpacking trip, you can apply the cost of the Ruck Day to the registration cost of a future WRG backpacking trip (within 1 yr of Ruck Day date). These are guided hikes for those looking for an introduction to hiking or backpacking, or simply to meet other adventurous women who enjoy exploring outdoors.
Ruck Days run with at least 2 hikers, max 10 hikers.

- Consult to review dietary restrictions
- I shop & purchase food for you, up to $50 (after that is extra)
- I package your food organized by day, meals, and snacks
- I hand off your food at the start of the trip, you provide food bag for hanging
