Guided Ruck days
single-day hikes - option to practice with overnight gear
If you are signed up for a WRG backpacking trip, (1) ruck day is free with your backpacking trip cost. If you are not registered for a backpacking trip, you can apply the cost of the ruck day to the registration cost of a future WRG backpacking trip (within 1 yr of Ruck Day date). These are guided hikes for those looking for an introduction to hiking or backpacking, or simply to meet other adventurous women who enjoy exploring outdoors.
Ratings for ruck days are on a different scale than backpacking trips. Ruck days are inherently easier than backpacking. If you are training for an easy-moderate backpacking trip, a difficult ruck will be great training for you.
Ruck Days run with at least 2 hikers, max 10 hikers.

Starting at $100, this luxury service includes:
- Consult to review dietary restrictions or preferences
- WRG will shop & purchase food for you, up to $50 (after that is extra)
- WRG will package your food organized by day, meals, and snacks
- WRG hand off your food at the start of the trip, you provide food bag for hanging
